  Meet Amber Blecker - Your Cruise Specialist!

My name is Amber Blecker.  You may also know me from many cruise message boards as "BurBunny." 

As a cruiser myself, I was faced with the same challenges as you.  How to make the most of my cruise dollar?  How to put the full package together?  Active on cruise boards researching my own cruises, I acquired knowledge beneficial to others.  Over time, I created a site to help cruisers book pre- and post-cruise hotels through Priceline and Hotwire, which turned into a one-of-a-kind business. 

From this, my clients started asking me to help them decide on cruises as well.  My extensive knowledge of idiosyncratic cabins (oversized balconies, unusual configurations, etc.) and of cruising in general had them turning to me for advice.  While I tried to refer them to other agents, I found I wasn't pleased with the levels of service and information provided.  So I became an agent myself.

Who is Amber Blecker?

Since joining Cruises Inc., I've been awarded both the prestigious Rookie of the Year and Agent of the Year awards.  One of the only agents within Cruises Inc. to have earned both distinctions!  Currently, I serve as an elected member of the Cruises Inc. Advisory Board.

Acknowledged as an expert in the industry, I've been highlighted in Fodor's Complete Guide to Caribbean Cruises, along with having assisted the author.  I have also been quoted by MSNBC, CNN, SmarterTravel, Budget Travel Magazine, Frommers, AnitaVacation, CruiseDiva, Tripso and in syndicated travel columns and online sites across the country.  

I am the founder and owner of SinglesCruiseResource.com, a site devoted to helping solo cruisers find reduced single supplement sailings.

I am affiliated with CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and have earned their Elite Cruise Counselor and Luxury Cruise Specialist deisgnations.  This means that I have completed advanced training which includes ship knowledge, experience and sales.  You can rest assured that you are dealing with a professional, full-time agent.

Why Book with Amber?
 

Though I offer value pricing, I am a full-service agent, from booking to your sailing and beyond.  I do not charge service/delivery fees to my clients.  While the prices posted on this site do not include taxes, when you receive a custom quote from me, either through email or by phone, all prices will be complete, including taxes and port charges.  You have to pay these fees, so you should know them up front. 

I monitor prices and will pass along price reductions to you if applicable.  I invite my clients to partner with me in this endeavor to ensure we catch every savings to which you're entitled.  I accept cruise line coupons - just tell me when you make a request and I'll include them in the quote.  Want to discuss options for excursions?  I'm happy to discuss them with you and pass along information I've gathered in my years of travel.   

I'm a cruiser, too, so my goal is to assist you in making the decisions which will fit your preferences and give you the vacation you desire.  This is a relationship.  I want to work with you for years to come!
